Our story

We’re the Whalens

Our own journey through biblical counseling not only transformed our lives and helped save our marriage, but also profoundly shaped our children. That experience led us to pursue certification as biblical counselors so we could extend the same hope to others.

We are both certified biblical counselors with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Dave has a specialization in marriage counseling; Jocelyn counsels women. We are committed to helping individuals and couples find hope and healing through the Word of God.

Counseling with North Idaho Biblical Counseling is offered through North Idaho Bible Church.

Where we serve

We counsel people in and around Newport, Washington, and Oldtown, Priest River, Spirit Lake, and Blanchard, Idaho—and we meet online when that serves best.
